All I want for Valentine's is No more Rape!

In response the sort fall in funding to Wellington Rape Crisis last year and the Roastbusters' case,  we decided to express our rage at the Rape Culture that is insipid in our society, that harms high numbers of woman (cis and trans) every single day, and also, most importantly to send a message of support and love to rape survivors.

Valentine's is meant to be a celebration of love, however like other holiday festivals this sees the incident of rape rise.

Remember consent is not just about your partner saying yes,or bullying them till they do.  Consent it's an ongoing process when engaging with others sexually.  So remember to: ASK, LISTEN AND RESPECT your partners this Valentine's Day and everyday.

Wellington Craft-a-Patch Workshop

Thanks to everyone who came along and created some beautiful patches for our Giant 'Occupy' Blanket!


We have decided that since it was a really nice way to collectively create the patches that we will be arranging another one soon, details to come. 


Just a reminder for those of you who are not in Wellington or cannot attend the workshops, to send your patch to as as soon as possible so that we can begin to transform them into the blanket! we have quite a lot of donated fabrics now so just holla if you would like some for your patch.
